"Coming into this Pearland area, I wasn’t sure where I wanted to stay in terms of distance to my job in Freeport. A friend of ours referred my wife and I to Vanessa Thompson whom found us a rental home that was in a great neighborhood and was not a bad commute for either of us most mornings. After a couple years in the rental home, we decided to purchase our own home. It was January 2020 and I don’t think I need to explain how that year went. We decided we wanted a house built and Vanessa showed us a new neighborhood that was yet to be started. The land had a small trailer for the building manager and nothing else. Despite the rough terrain of black dirt and our lack of imagination, Vanessa helped us see where our first home was gonna be built. During the pandemic while businesses were shutting down and layoffs all around, Vanessa told us everything was gonna be alright. She called to check on us every other day to remind us we would be in our dream home soon. We closed a month earlier than the original date projected. Vanessa was always there when we needed her and available anytime we had questions. She was always on time for our meetings and made sure we knew what we were getting ourselves into when any decisions were made. She’s the real deal."

It tears me up a little just thinking of all that. She’s amazing! She was always professional and calm when situations got sideways. I had a very hard time believing we would get to raise our family in this house because of all the obstacles we had to go through with the seller. She was the one who made sure I understood that she was going to get this house for us no matter what! She was literally working through her own vacation to finish getting our lovely home! She only had to show us 2 houses! She knew exactly what we wanted! We were able to openly discuss our wants, needs, deal breakers, etc. Since we couldn't be physically present to view homes, Albert would either give us virtual tours or record his tours and upload them online for us to watch. It was so helpful to have video to refer back to! Once we found "the one" Albert was swift in relaying the details between us and the sellers. He helped us bring down the final sale price, even with the crazy market! Albert provided solid suggestions for lenders, insurance quotes, and his recommended inspector was fantastic! Albert successfully negotiated small repairs and improvements for us based on the inspection report, all while sticking to the closing date! We are so grateful to Albert everything he has done to help our family!"
